In short

For managers and department heads, this practical day teaches you how to entrust a defined task to an AI agent, using tools like ChatGPT or Claude. You will draft a precise brief, supervise execution, and validate results. You will leave with a D15 review method, ensuring controlled and beneficial delegation for your team.

Why this training?

The problem
Managers and leaders struggle to entrust targeted tasks to AI agents (like ChatGPT, Claude, Microsoft Copilot) without losing control or quality.
What it costs today
Attempts at delegation fail, require frequent manual rework, or lead to results that do not meet expectations.
Why this skill
This skill is necessary to clearly define the scope of AI intervention and effectively supervise its execution.
What you gain
The participant and the company develop greater reliability in AI integration and autonomy in managing delegated tasks.

Objectives of this training

  • Distinguish between delegation to an AI agent, assistance, and automation.
  • Describe a human reference outcome and the risks associated with delegation.
  • Draft a precise mandate including permissions and limitations for an AI agent.
  • Supervise the execution of a task by an AI agent and handle anomalies.
  • Validate the results obtained by the AI agent according to defined criteria.
  • Organize a review method for effective follow-up of the delegated task.

Who is it for and what are the prerequisites?

Roles and tasks concerned

  • Managers who delegate tasks
  • Heads of support functions
  • Project managers overseeing assignments
  • Operational directors involved in execution strategy

Prior skills

  • AI Fundamentals and AI Prompting completed, or equivalent experience (a learning prerequisite, not a registration condition).
  • Understanding of team business processes
  • Knowledge of company strategic objectives
  • Familiarity with mission data and priorities
  • Basic practice of an AI assistant
  • A paid subscription to an AI solution offering the features used, the organisation’s authorisation for third-party tools, and the actual accounts and access rights.

To prepare before the session

  • A computer and an authorized professional account for an AI assistant (e.g., ChatGPT or Claude).
  • An example of a non-confidential task you might consider delegating.
  • The authorized documents or data, or fictitious/anonymized data for the exercises.

What you will work on

  1. Choose the mission and establish the human baseline

The participant can identify a delegable mission and define the human reference expectations.

  2. Draft the brief, permissions, and limitations

The participant is capable of drafting a clear and structured mandate for an AI agent.

  3. Supervise execution and handle anomalies

The participant acquires the ability to monitor the progress of the mission and manage incidents.

  4. Validate, transfer, and prepare the D15 review

The participant can evaluate AI deliverables and implement a post-delegation follow-up process.

What you take away

  • A two-page mission brief
  • An acceptance grid for AI results
  • A log of decisions and anomalies encountered
  • An autonomous plan for the D15 review

Method and assessment

  • Alternating scoping, short demonstrations and guided practice
  • Continuing case with fictional data and injected incidents
  • Peer reviews focused on human decisions and traceability

Formative assessment through review of the mandate, observation of execution and comparison with acceptance criteria. Each participant must justify a decision to accept, correct, take over manually or stop.

Frequently asked questions

What exactly does this course cover?

This course addresses the managerial delegation of a bounded assignment to an AI agent: selecting a suitable task, defining the mandate, supervising execution and validating the result. It does not replace technical workflow automation training and never assumes that an agent should act without meaningful human oversight.

Who is this one-day course for?

It is designed for managers and support function leads who need to govern agent use within a team. No technical expertise is required. Participants should, however, be able to describe a real assignment, its risks, the expected result and the decisions that must remain under human control.

What prerequisites and access are required?

Each participant needs a computer, an approved professional account for the selected tool and basic experience with an AI assistant. The example assignment must be non-confidential. Exercises use fictional or anonymised data; no connector, sensitive permission or newly announced agent capability is assumed to be available to everyone.

What practical exercise runs through the day?

The continuing exercise delegates sourced competitive monitoring or supplier tracking using fictional data. The group first establishes a human baseline, writes the mandate, introduces anomalies, observes deviations and then decides whether to accept, correct, take over or stop the assignment using explicit criteria.

What deliverables do participants produce?

Participants leave with a two-page assignment brief, an acceptance checklist, a decision and anomaly log, and a standalone day-15 review plan. These documents are developed during the course. The day-15 plan does not represent an additional coaching session that is included or mandatory.

Which agent limitations are addressed?

The course covers authorised sources and actions, prohibited actions, escalation, stopping criteria and human takeover. It stresses that fluent output does not prove accuracy or compliance. Unlimited autonomy, universal access to an agent mode and guaranteed task results are explicitly not promised.

Can we work with our own tools and access?

Yes, provided professional accounts, licences and permissions are checked before the session. The programme remains tool-independent and can use ChatGPT, Claude or Microsoft Copilot according to the available environment. A newly announced feature, particular connector or administrator access is never assumed.

What are the price and delivery format?

This is an 8-hour private Intra day, delivered in person for up to 12 participants. The fee is €1,960 excluding VAT per session, not per participant. The date, location and working language — French, Dutch or English — are agreed with the organisation.
