How can AI help you prepare an evidence file for an audit?
1960 € per session, excl. VAT
In short
Quality, internal audit and compliance teams learn to prepare an audit with the chosen AI assistant: link each requirement of a standard to dated evidence and an owner, flag gaps and contradictions, then organise the review. Deliverables: a requirements-to-evidence matrix, a gap register and a preparation file for the audit team.
Why this training?
- The problem
- Before an audit, time is lost finding the right version of a procedure or discovering that a piece of evidence is missing.
- What it costs today
- Requirements remain uncovered, two documents contradict each other and gaps surface during the audit rather than before.
- Why this skill
- The chosen AI assistant can suggest links between requirements and evidence, provided every link is dated, assigned and checked, with no automatic compliance opinion.
- What you gain
- Clear coverage of each requirement, dated and assigned evidence, and a gap register to resolve before the audit.
Objectives of this training
- Deconstruct a framework into verifiable and numbered requirements.
- Link each requirement to evidence, a date, and an owner using the chosen AI assistant.
- Identify missing evidence and documentary contradictions with the assistance of an AI assistant offering document analysis capabilities.
- Formulate precise questions for evidence owners and classify observed discrepancies.
- Assemble a structured and traceable audit preparation file.
Who is it for and what are the prerequisites?
Roles and tasks concerned
- Quality managers
- Internal auditors
- Operational compliance officers
Prior skills
- AI Fundamentals and AI Prompting completed, or equivalent experience (a learning prerequisite, not a registration condition).

- Have a fictional or authorized business framework.
- Gather a set of supporting documents (fictional or anonymized data).
What you will work on
Deconstruct the framework
The participant obtains a list of clear and verifiable requirements from the framework.
Link requirements and evidence
The participant acquires the ability to propose matches between requirements and evidence, including dates and owners.
Identify discrepancies
The participant is capable of identifying missing, outdated, or contradictory evidence.
Prepare questions and register
The participant knows how to draft factual questions and classify discrepancies in a register.
Assemble the file
The participant produces a structured review file ready for verification.
What you take away
- A matrix of requirements and associated evidence.
- A register of documented discrepancies.
- An audit preparation file.
Method and assessment
- Work on a fictional standard and a versioned document set
- Source verification of every requirement-evidence link
- Cross-review in auditor/auditee pairs
The file is assessed on complete coverage of requirements, traceability of every piece of evidence (document, version, date, owner), accuracy of gaps verified at source, and clarity of the questions prepared.
Frequently asked questions
What concrete result does this course deliver?
The team arrives at the audit with a traceable evidence matrix, known gaps and prepared questions. Deliverables: requirements-to-evidence matrix, gap register, audit preparation file.
Who is this course for and what are the prerequisites?
It is designed for: quality managers, internal auditors, operational compliance managers. Basic experience with the chosen AI assistant and an understanding of how an audit or quality standard works. The standard and exercise documents are fictional.
What data and access need to be arranged?
The standard and documents are fictional. Real documents are only used if the organisation authorises them for use with an AI assistant. Required tools and licences are checked before the session; no subscription is included in the price.
What practical exercise is completed?
The group receives a fictional standard and versioned documents. They link each requirement to evidence, a date and an owner, flag gaps and contradictions, prepare questions, and write the gap register and review file.
What are the limits and who validates the results?
The chosen AI assistant does not issue an audit opinion or certification and does not replace legal analysis. Every proposed match is checked in the source document; conclusions remain those of the quality managers and the auditor.
Can the course be adapted to our line of work?
During scoping, the fictional standard is chosen to resemble the team's context: quality system, safety, environment, customer requirements or internal procedure.
How is the session organised and what does it cost?
Full day, private in-person session for up to 12 participants. The fee is €1,960 excluding VAT per session. Date and location are agreed during scoping; each session runs in a single language: French, Dutch or English.
