Assets ready to publish
How do you turn a campaign brief into a coherent set of images that meets all requirements and is technically ready for publication?

In short
This seven-hour day, excluding breaks, structures the preparation of campaign images, from the brief to the delivery folder. You use generative AI to explore a visual direction, prepare channel-specific versions, check rights and measure file compliance before handing them over to the publishing team.
Why this training?
A campaign can bring together attractive images without having usable files: incompatible crops, a distorted product, illegible notices or poorly identified versions delay publication. Generative AI makes visual exploration easier, but does not replace either faithful product representation or rights clearance. The training links each creation to a specification and evidence of checks. Running case study: Avelune Bagagerie, a fictitious organisation, is launching a modular bag. Using fictitious product photographs and brand guidelines, the team prepares six assets: two visual concepts, each adapted into a social media square, a vertical image and a web banner, without altering the bag’s characteristics. Transfer to the workplace: Reuse the matrix for a future campaign, have the specifications approved by the publishing team and compare the percentage of files accepted at the first check with that of the practice batch.
Objectives of this training
- Translate a brief into an asset matrix by channel.
- Formulate generation instructions that respect the brand guidelines and the product.
- Adapt a visual direction into six clearly identified files.
- Check rights, consents and notices before publication.
- Measure batch compliance and document corrections.
Who is it for and what are the prerequisites?
Roles and tasks concerned
- Communications officers and marketing managers preparing multichannel campaigns.
- Graphic designers and content creators responsible for adaptations and exports.
Prior skills
- Be able to use a generative AI assistant and specify a request.
- Master the basics of framing, layers and image export.
- Know the channels and constraints of your marketing communications.
What you will work on
From brief to matrix
Objective: Define the expected batch precisely. Target audience, message, channels, aspect ratios, dimensions, file size, safe areas and notices; distinction between the master and its adaptations.
Ensuring reference material is safe to use
Objective: Identify which elements can actually be used. Copyright, licences, trade marks, consent from people depicted, applicable notices and traceability. Deepfakes: risks of impersonation and misleading representation.
Developing two visual concepts
Objective: Explore without distorting the product. Instructions on composition, lighting, palette, setting and elements that must remain unchanged; limitations when generating logos, text and product details.
Adapting the compositions
Objective: Adapt each concept for three media formats. Cropping, visual hierarchy, space reserved for the message, placement of notices and manual retouching of anomalies.
Optimising the files
Objective: Meet the technical publishing requirements. Choice of file format, compression, transparency, colour profile according to destination, naming and separation of source files and exports.
Checking and handing over
Objective: Establish a verifiable delivery status. Cross-checking, blocking defects, compliance per file and calculation: compliant assets divided by checked assets.
What you take away
- Matrix of the six assets and publishing specifications.
- Visual direction sheet and generation instructions.
- Folder of six exports with source files and versions.
- Rights register and quality control report.
Method and assessment
- Short instructional inputs followed by immediate practice on the running case study.
- Individual work followed by work in pairs, with peer review of the outputs.
- Guided group discussion: what works, what needs correcting and what remains a human decision.
- Preparation: Check access to a tool authorised by your organisation and the import, generation and export options available. Prepare only fictitious or anonymised materials: brief, brand guidelines, usable photographs and media specifications.
Observable criteria: The six files match the dimensions, formats and maximum file sizes in the matrix. ; The product retains its reference proportions, details and colours. ; Each asset has a documented rights and notices status; any unresolved issue blocks its publication. ; Text remains legible at the intended viewing sizes. ; The report calculates the percentage of compliant assets and records corrections..
Frequently asked questions
Can we use internal photographs?
Only if their use is authorised; the exercises use fictitious or anonymised resources.
Do we need to generate the product itself?
No. Keeping its photograph and generating a setting can better preserve its faithful representation.
Is an AI usage disclosure mandatory?
The obligations depend on the context; check the applicable rules and channel requirements before publication.
Is the batch published during the day?
No. It is prepared for handover, with caveats and required publication approvals clearly indicated.
